What Time Do You Get Up ?
- I. 教學目標:
-
- 參考國中英語科教師手冊及利用自行設計的教學教具,啟發引導以學生為主,教師為輔,
讓學生們輕輕鬆鬆、快快樂樂地以Listening ,Speaking , Reading,和writing
的方式,
達到本課單元教學目標:
- (1)會用what time 引導的問句詢問他人的日常作息,並做適當的回應。

- (2)會用簡單的電話用語。
- II. 教學資源:

- textbook, picture, flashcards, tape, tape recorder, chalk, magnetic board。

- III.教學內容:(本課分成二部分)

- A:介紹全課各小單元,啟發教學設計及自行設計教具的應用。
-
- B: Lesson Six 全課教案。
A: Lesson Six " new words "可利用
"flashcards" ,
正反兩面,正面為新英語單字,反面為音標,以不 同顏色書寫。
音標內重音和母音均以紅色加以標注,以便引起學生的注意力,操作時以教師帶讀,
先讓學生唸新字,後看讀音標。
- B: Dialogue

- #1 情況說明:
-
- Ted在上學途中遇見美籍的Jones老太太。
-
- (1)可製作與課文相關的"pictures " ( _________ ) ,放在黑板上,引起學生興趣。
-
- (2)學生看著情境(掛圖),專心聽教師播放的錄音帶。
-
- (3)教師就對話內容問一些簡單的問題(如#1) , T: What is Ted ?
-
- 同時可利用Lesson Two 至Lesson Five介紹過的句型及文法 T: Do you go to bed
late ?
-
- 引導至本課新句型 T: What time do you go to bed ? 及答句。
-
- (4)學生若課文熟練,可利用自行設計教具,
只要在白紙板上配合課文,
-
- 寫上角色名稱,用線 繩掛在學生頸上,即可讓學生按課文內容表演短劇。

- 表演方式同學們可利用課餘時間, 共同討論角色分派,內容增刪,道具製作,及音效之運用...等,
-
- 教師只做評審,給予講評 鼓勵及修正。

- (5)若學生課文異常熟悉,也可應用在"看圖說故事",讓學生以課文內容為主,
-
- 加上自己的意見,用英語加以描述,訓練學生文法、單字、組合及"speaking"的能力。

- 建議教學遊戲方式:

- (1)角色扮演, 讓學生兩人一組, 分別扮 Mrs. Wu & Sue ,
且角色可互換。

- (2)模仿布袋戲方式,一人扮演二角色。

- (3)本#2情境練習方式,可溯自Book I , Lesson Eight 連貫。

- 可要求全班同學將自己的電話 號碼,按點名冊順序填入,

- 全班人手一張,每人電話號碼,仿照課文,練習打電話常用語。

- (4)發給每位同學一張同格式的小張 handout, 讓其填好後,
要求每位學生互換,
人數不限, 一組二人練習後再交換其他人, 練習"What time ...?"句型及回答:

句尾的單子, 語調要 [下降], 不可上升。 如(1). (3), (5), (9) 句

- b: Be 動詞為句首的疑問句時, 句尾的單字語調要 [上升],
不可下降, 整句語調是 23, 例第(7)句

- 2. 請依照錄音帶內容,
將圖案與鐘面上的時間配合起來。

- a.為了讓大部分的學生確實聽懂錄音帶內容,
教師不妨以口頭問答方式, 逐一與學生對話。

- 同樣方式問第五個圖時間。 T: What time is it ? S: It's eight fifteen.

- b.本單元也可以作一大型教具, 以三合板, 保麗龍,
及課本上圖畫, 做一活動型教具,

- 六張圖畫,六種不同時間可隨意互換, 增加學生練習新句型的機會。

這課以 What time -----? 詢問他人的作息為主的句型,
首先一定要學生們確實複習 do/ does 的正確用法觀念。

依照例子詢問鄰座同學每星期六大致作息時間, 並將時間記錄下來。

教師可由本課有出現的日常作息有關動詞片語和一個學生示範,

兩個母音, 提醒學生注意發音部位和嘴形的不同。
然後任意唸出其中一個母音, 讓學生 辨認。
大部分學生都能正確辨別後,
再讓學生跟著錄音帶或教師唸後面的字。
